Let’s dig deep(er), yes?

Hello there! I’m a healing arts strategist, geographer, and ceremonykeeper, working across place. Since 2008 I’ve guided meditations with fellow communities of color and justice organizations. Today, I help makers of color and justice-centered organizations mobilize healing arts. Together we refresh how they build, hold space, and practice soul care (aka self-care). For community-rooted research and artmaking, I explore themes like alternative economies, ancestral trauma, and Black food and healing geographies. My roots (African-American and Xicana/Mexican) inspire the journey. And YOU inspire me, makers, artists, scholars of color, first generation college students, folks creating at a crossroads.
